Public Health Expertise Built for Public Safety

DRSE Consulting LLC was founded to bring practical, field-tested infection control guidance to the police, fire, and EMS departments that need it most. Our work is grounded in over two decades of experience spanning public health administration, epidemiology, emergency medicine, and frontline public safety service.

Our founder has served as a Public Health Director and Epidemiologist for a major public safety department, acting as a liaison to the CDC's Port Health program and overseeing infection control operations for hundreds of personnel. That work has included authoring infection control and disease response plans, leading a department's COVID-19 vaccination and pandemic response efforts, and supporting accreditation through the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR program.

Before moving into public health leadership, our founder spent over a decade as a firefighter/paramedic and police officer, served as a U.S. Army combat medic, and continues to work as a critical care flight paramedic — experience that shapes how we build infection control programs: practical, field-ready, and designed by someone who has worked the calls, not just written the policy.
